I was goofing off, trying to replicate the look of a photo by Jason Bradwell. He was experimenting with different light setups, but this shot was taken with an on-camera flash with diffuser. All effects done with free software.

This was taken last fall using a Nikon N70, basic ISO/100 FijuFilm, and the kit lens from the Nikon D40. Processing and scanning done at Walgreens, touchups with the GIMP. I like the natural "feel" of this technique.
